Utility Rooms

We frequently receive requests to incorporate utility rooms into the main kitchen design. These spaces often go hand in hand, as they share many elements such as overflow storage, additional washing facilities, and housing the main freezer. Therefore, most designs consider what will be included in both areas.

Sometimes, we need to look beyond the kitchen cabinetry designs for these spaces. Utility rooms work hard in a home, but are not often seen by guests, or if they are, not much time is spent in them. As a result, they can be downgraded in terms of bespoke finishing, details, or materials. This can be a very sensible way of value engineering a house renovation by cutting costs in these areas while keeping them beautiful and well-designed without going over budget.

These are examples of utility rooms where clients have chosen to continue with the same cabinet styles and designs or opt for an alternative look and build. We can guide you and advise on the best options suited to your needs and budget.
