Family Bathroom, Master Ensuite & Shower Room
The challenge for this house was to fit a full-sized bath into the existing room, despite losing some space to the new staircase, which allowed for a self-contained double downstairs bedroom and a larger upper hallway. This required careful planning and innovative design solutions.
To achieve this, we opened the space created by the new staircase, rather than enclosing it, which allowed natural light to flow into the room, creating a brighter and more open feel. A small stud wall was constructed to house the bath and provide a dedicated space for the built-in sink vanity, ensuring functionality without compromising on style.
The design was further enhanced with lovely, mottled pink and cream feature tiles, which were used consistently on both the floor and walls. These tiles not only add a touch of elegance but also create a cohesive and harmonious look throughout the bathroom.
