Highgate Apartments
This London apartment has undergone a full transformation. The brief was to design a bold, daring, vibrant, and very functional kitchen. With their exceptional eye for interiors and detail, our client was an absolute delight to work with. They embraced daring and innovative ideas, and the design process was exciting and enjoyable, which we hope is reflected in the result!
The adjoining wall was moved to create a more spacious and inviting kitchen area. The cabinetry is bespoke, featuring chunky angled front-facing legs, split beaded frames, and hand-painted in a deep red. Personal touches were added with shamrock-shaped ventilation for the larder, paying homage to the client’s family history.
The finished interior is a stunning blend of old and new. We combined reclaimed handles with new antique brass and mixed textures and colours, using matte black, shiny chrome, deep reds, bright blues, honed stones, and rustic terracotta. Taking inspiration from our client, the result is impressive and highlights the potential of a vibrant mix of colours and materials.
